Placenta Capsules

Using the method inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, the placenta is steamed with chilli, ginger, and lemon.
It is then dehydrated, ground, and placed into capsules for easy postpartum use.

Mother Tincture

A long-lasting tincture made from the placenta, for use once the capsules are finished, or for ease of use when travelling.
This tincture is made in a brandy base.

Placenta Spirit Channelling

Placenta work is sacred, and is performed in ceremony.
Working with the placenta in this way allows for the spiritual messages to come through and be heard.
These messages are for you the Mother, for your baby, and your family.
These messages are recorded in writing for your keeping.

Placental Earth Offering

What follows is a brief summary of the teachings of Wirradjirri woman and Wirrloo lore woman Minmia,
as passed to me by my teacher Jane Hardwicke Collings:
The placenta carries our individual soul blueprint in this place and time.
When we are born, placing our placenta into the ground lets the Earth know we have arrived.
Placed into the Earth, the placenta provides the soul map that awaits activation at a child’s teenage rite of passage.
This offering also recognises the symbiotic relationship we live in with the Earth,
giving thanks and nourishing the Earth that so generously nourishes us and our children.

You don’t have to choose between placenta burial or capsules - you can do both.
During the process of preparation for encapsulation, a piece of the raw placenta
is kept aside from the maternal side, and dried for your offering to the Earth.

Umbilical Cord Keepsake

The cord is shaped and dried to either be kept as a keepsake, or included in your Earth Offering ritual.
